REFLECTIONS
Taking time to write and reflect is a great way to get grounded and connect to yourself. Journalling can help us to gain greater clarity about our thoughts, our feelings and goals. For me, writing and reflection helps me to cope with anxiety and everyday stress and worry.
Grab your journal, a cup of tea, light some incense or a candle, remove any distractions and set up a comfortable space. Take a moment to connect to your breath. No need to get fancy - simply inhale through the nose, and take a slow long exhale out the mouth.
Reflect on one or more of these questions. Write or draw anything that comes to mind. Try not to edit or judge what comes up, use this time to express yourself freely. Set a timer for 5, 10 or 15 minutes.
How are you - really?
How are you feeling?
Where in your body are you experiencing tension and heaviness?
What are you sitting with currently?
What is moving you, inspiring you lately?
What is something you are passionate about but not doing anything about?
What's stopping you from living in your truth?
